UAW Local 31 is on Strike

As of Tuesday, May 13, 2008 the Strike still continues.
The Shop Committee and Management are meeting daily.

 

VERY IMPORTANT

Checks will be ready for pick-up Thursday, May 22 and Friday, May 23
from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

  • No one can pick up your check but you.
  • No checks will be mailed.
  • If you cannot pick up your check on the 22nd or 23rd you must notify the Financial Secretary before the 22nd.  (NO EXCEPTIONS)

IT IS ALSO ESSENTIAL THAT YOU REMEMBER TO CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT FOR PICKET DUTY OR WE WILL NOT KNOW THAT YOU SERVED.  YOU MAY NOT GET CREDIT.

UNION MEETING NOTICE

The next monthly Regular Executive Board and Membership Meetings will be held Saturday, May 17, 2008 at the Union Hall (always the third Saturday of the month).  The E-Board meets at 1:00 p.m. followed by the Membership Meeting at 2:00 p.m.  If either production shift works that day, these meetings will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2008.

On the Agenda will be a report from the Election Committee

 

RETIREE MEMBERSHIP MEETING

The next Retiree meeting will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2008 (always the third Tuesday of the month).  The meeting begins at 11:00 a.m. followed by a potluck lunch.  Please bring a large covered side dish. Spouses are welcome.
