Vacation Time Off Procedure:
            Management has informed the Shop Committee that the weeks of July 2 and July 9 will be vacation shut-down weeks.  All employees not working those weeks/days must use eight (8) hours of vacation entitlement hours per day that you are not scheduled to work - *July 4 is Holiday Pay and not vacation.  The maximum amount of hours to be used is 72 hours.

            February 1 – February 29, 2012 is the vacation application period pursuant to Paragraph 202(h) of the National Agreement.  Apply for all of your entitled hours.  Vacation is granted by seniority.

            Local Agreement – the Shop Committee has returned to the negotiating table.  At this time there is no change to report.  We will inform the membership of any progress.

            The next membership meeting will be on Saturday, February 18, 2012 beginning at 2:00 pm.  Plan on attending.

CREDIT UNION NEWS
           

GM has sent many of UAW-MO-KAN Federal Credit Union’s members a letter regarding payroll deductions.  The GM payroll department has confirmed members can have payroll deductions going to only one (1) Credit Union.  GM payroll department wants to confirm UAW MO-KAN Federal Credit Union is the Credit Union our members want to have their deductions sent to.  Members can bring the form or get a new form from the Credit Union confirming their deductions.  Members can come thru the Credit Union’s drive-thru window and drop off the form.  The Credit Union will also fax the form letter for our members.
